DANGER: Maximum P.T.O. speed is 540 R.P.M. Operate between the range of 425 & 540 R.P.M.
These charts are based on a specific weight of 60lbs. per cu.ft. material. For heavier or lighter material, make appropriate adjustment (refer to your operators manual).
Based on a tractor speed of 4.5 MPH

Checking output rate
Check the calibration stop recommended in the Calibration Guide by filling the hopper with a known small quantity of fertilizer and measuring distance covered to empty the hopper.
Multiply the quantity of fertilizer spread by the number of yards run (this number is predetermined by the working width previously determined i.e. 39 feet = 372 yards).
Divide by the distance actually covered.
The answer will be the quantity of fertilizer actually spread per acre.
